Providing Authentic Montessori Education

At Osaka Montessori International School,
our aim is to support children's development and assist them in gaining the ability to think for themselves.
All instruction is conducted in English.

The difference between us and traditional English conversation preschools or international schools lies in our curriculum. It is tailored to children's development and age, following the established Montessori methods used in American Montessori schools, covering language, culture, mathematics, and more.

Montessori education originated in early childhood education with Maria Montessori in Italy and boasts a track record of over 100 years in Europe and America.
Our school is not merely adopting some aspects of Montessori methods;
we proudly advocate a unique program of "authentic Montessori preschool education,"
which we invite parents to witness firsthand.

We are confident you will see the distinctiveness compared to other international schools.

Details of CH Class

At Osaka Montessori International School, we have two classes based on age.
Following Montessori principles, we organize our classes into mixed-age groups, known as "vertical classes," where each group spans approximately three years.

The Toddler Class accommodates children aged 1.5 to 3 years, while the CH Class is a mixed-age class for children aged 3 to 6 years.
Younger children naturally emulate older ones, while older children learn to care for and nurture younger ones,
fostering social skills and cooperation.

Unlike typical facilities, Montessori education not only features unique educational materials but also spacious classrooms that accommodate the number of children.
We believe that just entering our environment provides a comforting feeling, which is essential for children and adults alike.
In our well-organized and expansive setting, we are committed to offering authentic Montessori education.
